THE REGIONAL CONTEST AND THE EXHIBITION OF CHRISTMAS’ CRIBS

We try to prelong magic Christmas time through organizing Regional Contest of Cribs  That tradition lasts for about 15 years. This year’s contest gathered over 320 work – still astonishing and delighting owning to its creativity. The exhibition after the Contest was watched by 3,500 people. That Contest has become an inherent part of the local colour, it has become a very important cultural element of our small motherland.

The cribs are the true masterpieces, made in many different techniques and out of many various materials – of: paper, wood, salt mass and even aromatic gingerbread. Unusually important is also the fact that those cribs are the work of whole families, what releases not only  the inspirational effect, but also enables union of grandparents, parents and children which is so important nowadays when the whole world’s gone crazy.
