22th September – The independence of Bulgaria

The independence of Bulgaria is proclaimed with manifesto on 22th September in ‘Sveti 40 muchenici’ church in the old capital of Bulgaria Veliko Turnovo. Independent Bulgarian kingdom is recognized by The Great Powers during the spring of 1909.
