·        “Hristo Botev” High School has rich and glorious past. It has trained more than 9 000 alumni who support the school’s glory during the years.

·        When we open the yellow pages of the school’s chronicles, we discover a lot of interesting facts:

·        In 1912 is formed the first secondary class.

·        From 1915 to 1918 the school lessons stopped because of the participation of Bulgaria in World War One.

·        On 17.12.1921 the school is named after the great Bulgarian poet, revolutionary and democrat Hristo Botev.

·        Today 336 students are being trained in 15 profile classes.

·        Our school has classrooms for the different subjects and 4 of them are equipped with computers, there is a school gym, a canteen, a medical study, a rich library and a radio studio.

·        Our alumni have lots of success in different competitions. They participate in regional and national Olympiads and win first positions in them.

·        Our school has its sports glory – we have strong teams in volleyball, table tennis and football.

·        3 years we have been issuing a newspaper of the students from the poetic club “The Magic of the Speech” and the students in the IT group. The newspaper, called “Vestnikat” (“The newspaper”), is an expression of the school life.

·        Over 80% of our alumni continue their education at universities in Bulgaria and abroad.

The students of out high school have interesting and varied school life. Many festivities are organized, and the students take part in them actively: A Christmas ball, “Ms. and Mr. High School” competition, sport feast.
